Alpine Ski Center has always . Sensing a need for a specialized ski shop Bob Quinlan and Hiram Lewis opened Alpine in 1976.
At a time when skiing was new to the region, Alpine provided the expertise to help grow the sport in the Southeast in partnership with the local resorts. Fast forward 47 years, Alpine has six stores, operates in 3 states, and is still working to spread the gospel of skiing and snowboarding.
